Liberty Elementary

February 7, 2019 Liberty Elementary School I had the opportunity to tour Liberty Elementary School STEM wing and talk to the students, teachers and administrators about their STEM program. I was inspiring to see young children so actively involved in learning and work in a student centered classroom. The media center created a makerspace for students to come to for 20 minutes each. The lab allowed students to create robots, lego, and other projects using technology. Each class have their portfolio on display and each teacher created a Twitter account to share their story. The school has shown steady progress over the last 3 years. I will interview the media specialist soon. 8:30-11:30
